My Story

In 1993, my life changed forever after a serious car accident left my left hand crushed and permanently injured. During that difficult season, my mother discovered Vocational Rehabilitation — a program designed to support individuals with physical and mental disabilities through education, training, and employment.

For years, Vocational Rehabilitation stood beside me — even through setbacks, struggles, and failures. They never gave up on me. With their support, I eventually graduated from college and secured my first professional position as a Sales Manager for Office Depot. While working, I continued my education and earned my Master’s Degree in Business.

I later transitioned into education, teaching students business, workplace readiness, and life skills — mentoring them through real-life conversations and guidance. At the same time, I spent over 15 years coaching softball, bowling, and golf, winning multiple championships and helping young athletes grow into state champions.

Everything I achieved was made possible through the opportunities provided by Vocational Rehabilitation and strong mentors who believed in me. Today, helping others is not just my job — it is my calling.

Even now, years after cases have closed, former clients still call me for guidance. Parents constantly tell me they worry about what will happen to their children after they are gone. My mission is to help families feel secure, supported, and confident that their loved ones can succeed independently.
